Half of the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon were contested on Friday morning at the 2010 Horizon League Track & Field Championships at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.

Eight schools will compete in the 2010 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2. The 13th annual men's and women's event will take place at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.

Butler senior Rob Mullett, Loyola senior Erik Hernandez, BU freshman Kirsty Legg, and Milwaukee senior Beth Zimmerman have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of April 19-25.

Honoring student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League announced its 2009-10 Winter Academic All-League Teams on Tuesday (April 20).

Milwaukee senior Tyler Bucholz, Valparaiso junior Jarrett Mickens, UWM senior Kelsey Conrad, and Youngstown State junior Danielle Curry have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of April 12-18.

Butler senior Joe Macdonald, Youngstown State junior Bryin Ehrhardt, Wright State sophomore Cassandra Lloyd, and YSU junior Alisha Anthony have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of April 5-11.

Detroit sophomore Vushaun Landrum, Valparaiso junior Jarrett Mickens, Wright State sophomore Cassandra Lloyd, and Detroit senior Brittany Horne have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of March 29-April 4.

Butler senior Joe Macdonald, Milwaukee senior Quinn Mongoven, BU freshman Lauren McKillop, and UWM senior Beth Zimmerman have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of March 22-28.

Butler freshman Romeo Harper, Wright State sophomore Cassandra Lloyd and junior Amber Kasmer have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of March 15-21.

Butler senior Rob Mullett has earned 2010 Horizon League Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year honors, while Wright State sophomore Cassandra Lloyd and Loyola sophomore Devin Gosberry have been named Co-Athletes of the Year on the women's side.
