Four #HLSB Student-Athletes Collect NFCA All-Region Honors

INDIANAPOLIS (May 14, 2026) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2026 Division I All-Region honors on Thursday with four #HLSB student-athletes earning recognition.

- The awards honor softball student-athletes from 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections.
- NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated student-athletes (eight maximum) and voted for the teams.
- All awarded student-athletes now become eligible for the 2026 NFCA Division I All-America squads.

- Aglaia Rudd, RMU, Catcher (Great Lakes First Team)
- Mary Brant, RMU, 3B (Great Lakes First Team)
- Courtney Poulich, RMU, DP/Utility (Great Lakes Second Team)
- Maggie Murphy, Oakland, DP/Utility (Great Lakes Third Team)
- Rudd led the League with a .551 batting average this season, slugging 1.083 with 86 hits and earning #HLSB Defensive Player of the Year honors.
- Brant hit .395 this season with 64 hits, 43 runs and 57 RBIs.
- #HLSB Player of the Year Poulich hit .436 in 2026 with a slugging percentage of 1.000 with a League-best 77 runs and 88 RBIs.
- An All-League First Team selection, Murphy hit .455 for the Golden Grizzlies, slugging .891 with an on-base percentage of .529.
