College basketball: CSU stretched thin by rugged run

The News-Herald · December 16, 2009 10:21AM

The Cleveland State Vikings are, at this juncture, a struggling team in a bad place. In a 78-70 loss Tuesday to Robert Morris at the Wolstein Center, the Vikings played with little cohesion and even less intensity. They are 4-7 overall and have lost six of their last seven games. Throw out Saturday's 113-61 victory over Wilberforce, an NAIA school CSU shouldn't play under any circumstance, and the Vikings have lost six straight games to Division I opponents by an average of 12.1 points.
