Horizon League SAAC Mission Statement
To encourage Horizon League student-athlete involvement in league issues by providing the student-athlete population with an opportunity to more effectively communicate with the league office; and to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image.

More specifically, the Horizon League SAAC will strive to:

• build a sense of community among Horizon League institutions involving all athletic teams;
• promote communications between the Horizon League SAAC, Executive Council, and Faculty Athletic Representatives;
• disseminate information from the national and league SAACs to their respective campus SAACs;
• provide feedback and insight into national and league issues;
• solicit student-athlete responses to proposed Horizon League and NCAA legislation; and
• encourage community service efforts.
