INDIANAPOLIS- Milwaukee’s Jenny Lindner led the Panthers to a 2-0 week, including a comeback road win at Western Illinois in which the senior scored 21 of her 34 points in the second half. Lindner is the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. IUPUI’s Macee Williams averaged eleven points and nine rebounds per game this week for the Jaguars, earning her second Freshman of the Week honor this season.

Jenny Lindner had a breakout performance in a big road win Sunday. In a road game at Western Illinois - a team that came in ranked in the mid-major poll and dropped just one home game a year ago - Lindner took her game to the next level. The senior scored 21 points in the second half alone and finished with a career-high 34 points in the comeback win for Milwaukee. Not only that, she notched her second double-double of the young season with a game-high 10 rebounds. That comes just five days after scoring 12 points in just 21 minutes in a lopsided win over Loyola.

Williams averaged 11 points and nine rebounds over the two games the Jags played at the UCF Thanksgiving Classic. In a close loss to the Knights, Williams recorded her first-career double-double leading the team with 18 points and 12 rebounds, both career-highs. She shot 6-for-9 from the field and made all six of her free throws. Out of her 12 rebounds, nine of them came on the offensive end of the court. The freshman also logged a career-high 36 minutes against UCF. In IUPUI’s win over Wyoming, Williams finished with six rebounds and four points in just 19 minutes of action.
