INDIANAPOLIS — Milwaukee handed Loyola-Chicago its second loss of the season on Saturday (73-56), with Brock Stull netting a game-high 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting, including 4-of-8 marksmanship from 3-point range. Meanwhile, Justin Mitchell and Loudon Love each posted double-doubles as Wright State earned a 77-69, road win at Toledo. Also finding the win column on Saturday was Green Bay, which bested Wisconsin-Parkside, 86-50, behind Hunter Crist’s game-high 16 points (6-of-7 FG). In another Horizon League contest, Oakland’s Kendrick Nunn tallied a game-best 32 points versus No. 2 Michigan State. With just 6:11 remaining in the game, the Golden Grizzlies were knotted with the second-ranked Spartans at 66-66; however, Michigan State pulled away late to seal an 86-73 victory.

Titans fall to Michigan in first college basketball game in Little Caesars Arena
(Courtesy of DetroitTitans.com) — DETROIT — In the first collegiate basketball game played at the brand-new Little Caesars Arena on Saturday afternoon, the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team fell to a hot-shooting University of Michigan squad by a 90-58 margin. Junior forward Kameron Chatman, going against his former team for the first time, notched his third double-double of the season with team-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore guard Corey Allen added 11 points for the Titans (4-7).

Stull's return sparks Panthers past Ramblers, 73-56
(Courtesy of MKEPanthers.com) — MILWAUKEE — Brock Stull scored 23 points and the Milwaukee men's basketball team led by as many as 20 in cruising to a 73-56 victory over Loyola Chicago Saturday afternoon at UWM Panther Arena. The Panthers (7-5) took control from the start against the Ramblers (10-2), leading for all but 77 seconds of the day in claiming a victory over a team ranked No. 3 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll and had just beaten No. 5 Florida earlier this month.

Wright State shoots down Rockets
(Courtesy of WSURaiders.com) — TOLEDO, Ohio — The Wright State men's basketball team (7-4) went on the road and took care of business at Toledo with a 77-69 win. It was WSU's second straight win over a MAC team as the Raiders were coming off a home win over Kent State. The Raider bench contributed 17 points while UT's bench had 11 points. It was third straight win and seventh win of the last eight games for the Raiders.

Oakland comes up short against No. 2 Spartans, 86-73
(Courtesy of GoldenGrizzlies.com) — DETROIT — Kendrick Nunn scored a game high 32 points while dishing out a career high seven assists as the Oakland men's basketball team came up short against No. 2 Michigan State 86-73 Saturday afternoon at Little Caesars Arena. The matchup between the Golden Grizzlies (6-5) and Spartans (10-1) drew the largest crowd in the history of Little Caesars Arena (20,695).

Patterson's 19 not enough as Jags fall at Washington State
(Courtesy of IUPUIJags.com) — PULLMAN, Wash. — It was Ron Patterson and little else as the IUPUI basketball team was dealt a fifth straight loss at Washington State on Saturday night (Dec. 16), 72-59. Patterson matched his career-high with 19 points and six boards, but was outgunned by four WSU players in double-digits. Malichi Flynn led the victors with 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting and Viont'e Daniels closed with 15 points.

Green Bay cruises past Wisconsin-Parkside, 86-50
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Five Green Bay players scored in double figures on Saturday as the Phoenix bested intrastate opponent, Wisconsin-Parkside, in commanding, 86-50 fashion. Leading the way for Green Bay was freshman guard, Hunter Crist, who came off the bench to score a game-best 16 points on near-perfect 6-of-7 shooting from the field.
