INDIANAPOLIS- Green Bay senior forward Jessica Lindstrom led the Phoenix to three straight road wins this week, averaging 17 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Lindstrom is the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season. Youngstown State’s Chelsea Olson posted 26 points at Cleveland State on Saturday, earning her Freshman of the Week honors.

Jessica Lindstrom led the Phoenix to a 3-0 record on the road this week, averaging 17.0 points and 9.7 rebounds. In Green Bay’s most recent outing, the senior scored 22 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for her ninth double-double this season. She also became the program’s all-time leader for rebounds in a career in the division I era.

Chelsea Olson averaged 16.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field in two games last week. With YSU missing two starters on Saturday at Cleveland State, the freshman stepped up to score 26 points and grab eight rebounds to lead the Penguins to a 14-point win. The 26 points are the most by a Horizon League freshman this season, and they are the most by a Penguins freshman since 1995.The Wisconsin native had a huge second half at CSU, scoring 20 points while going 5-for-5 from the field, 3-for-3 from 3-point range and 7-for-9 from the free-throw line. Olson also scored seven points with two rebounds and a block at Wright State last Monday.
