INDIANAPOLIS – Cleveland State’s Trinniti Hall posted 4.25 kills per set this week, hitting a tremendous .544, leading the Vikings to a 2-0 record, and earning Nike® Offensive Player of the Week honors. Green Bay’s Vanessa Buman topped #HLVB in digs with 7.29 per set this week and helped the Phoenix to a perfect 2-0 week. Buman is the Nike® Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Trinniti Hall averaged 4.25 kills per set on a .544 hitting percentage in a pair of wins against YSU and Oakland this week. The junior recorded 10 kills in the 3-0 win against YSU and followed that up with a career-high 24 kills in the five-set victory over Oakland. Hall’s 10 kills against the Penguins came on a career-best .909 hitting percentage (10-0-11), while she hit a .457 clip against Oakland (24-3-46). In league matches only, she ranks second with a .385 hitting percentage this season, while she is averaging 3.23 kills per set.

Buman has moved into first place for digs per set during conference play with 6.14, the only player above six digs per set. The senior collected 33 digs against Northern Kentucky in four sets, an impressive 8.25 per set, and 18 versus IUPUI in three sets while helping Green Bay move to nine straight wins in a row. The 33 digs were the most Buman has notched in four sets this season.
