Nike #HLWBB Players of the Week (December 17)

INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI sophomore Macee Williams posted 27 points and 16 rebounds on Sunday for the Jaguars, recording her third double-double of the season. Williams is the #HLWBB Nike® Player of the Week for the second time this season. Wright State freshman Anisja Harris made eight three-pointers for the Raiders on Thursday, totaling 24 points on the day. Harris is the #HLWBB Nike® Freshman of the Week.

Williams posted her third double-double of the season in the Jags loss to Ohio. The sophomore scored a game-high 27 points and pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds, while also dishing out two assists and grabbing a steal. Williams finished the game 10-for-15 from the floor, hitting one three and was 6-for-7 from the free throw line. Williams 16 rebounds are the second-highest in a game in the Horizon League this season and the most for an IUPUI player since March 2017.

After serving as a spot role player in the first ten games of the season, Anijsa Harris was electric in a Thursday morning home game against Kentucky State. Harris went 8 for 11 behind the arc en route to tripling her previous season-high with 24 points on the day. Harris’ 73% shooting from behind the arc sparked Wright State to their seventh straight victory on Thursday.
