(Feb. 25, 2018) — Regular-season #HLMBB action concluded on Sunday night, with Northern Kentucky defeating IUPUI, 75-56, to clinch the regular-season league title. The Norse will be the top seed in next week’s Little Caesars Horizon League Men’s Basketball Championship. In the second game of the day, second-place Wright State bested third-place UIC, 88-81, in Chicago.

@NKUNorseMBB clinches Horizon League Regular Season Championship outright with win over IUPUI

INDIANAPOLIS — The Northern Kentucky men's basketball team clinched the Horizon League Regular Season Championship outright on Sunday afternoon with a 75-56 victory at IUPUI. The Norse close the regular season at 22-8 overall and 15-3 in the Horizon League. IUPUI falls to 11-18 and 8-10 in league play.

Wright State rallies from 14-point deficit to beat UIC 88-81

CHICAGO — Loudon Love had his 12th double-double and fellow-freshman Everett Winchester scored a season-high 19 points to help Wright State overcome a 14-point deficit and beat Illinois-Chicago 88-81 on Sunday. Wright State (21-9, 13-4 Horizon League) will be the No. 2 seed and, as well as third-seeded UIC (17-13, 12-5), will have a first-round bye in the conference tournament, which begins Friday in Detroit.
