INDIANAPOLIS – Detroit Mercy sits on top of the #HLMBB standings after another home win, while Oakland, UIC and Youngstown State each ended the third week of League action with victories on Saturday.

Detroit Mercy 93, Milwaukee 84
The Titans pushed their #HLMBB record to 5-1 on Saturday with a 93-84 victory at home as they now take a half game lead for first-place. Antoine Davis went off for 32 points with five triples and went 13-of-15 from the free-throw line, while adding seven assists and Josh McFolley scored 18 points. MKE had a 30-point performance as well as DeAndre Abram finished with 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting with six triples.
Youngstown State 82, IUPUI 76
YSU has now won two out of its last three games after claiming a six-point road win at IUPUI on Saturday. Darius Quisenberry led the way for the Penguins with 22 points, eight assists and four rebounds as Garrett Covington added 15. IUPUI falls to 2-3 in HL play as D.J. McCall registered 14 points and Camron Justice tallied 13.
Oakland 90, Green Bay 78
Karmari Newman set a career-high with 33 points on 10-of-13 shooting, including going 6-of-8 from long range to help the Golden Grizzlies snap a two-game losing streak and improve to 4-2 in League play. Jaevin Cumberland registered 20 points and Xavier Hill-Mais added 18. The Phoenix drop their second in a row as Kameron Hankerson totaled 19 points and Sandy Cohen III recorded 18 points and nine rebounds.
UIC 76, Cleveland State 53
The Flames improved to 3-2 in League games this season as they tied a program-record with 17 3-pointers led by Tarkus Ferguson with 18 points on six triples and Jamie Ahale went 4-for-5 from behind the arc. CSU’s Tyree Appleby scored a game-high 23 points by going 10-of-14 from the charity stripe and Stefan Kenic was the only other Viking in double figures with 10.

MOTOR CITY MADNESS
The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The 2019 men’s and women’s championship games will take place on Tuesday, March 12 with the men playing at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN or ESPN2 and the women starting at noon ET on ESPNU. Tickets for the semifinals and championship go on-sale on February 1. Once quarterfinal games conclude on March 5 and 6, fan section information for participating teams will be announced.
