INDIANAPOLIS – The fourth week of #HLWBB play began on Friday with four contests as Cleveland State and Youngstown State earned home wins and Green Bay and Milwaukee picked up road victories.

Cleveland State 76, Northern Kentucky 47
Cleveland State earned its fourth League win of the season on Friday with a 76-47 home victory over Northern Kentucky. Four players were in double figures for the Vikings, including Mariah Miller, who led CSU with 21 points and nine rebounds. Emmy Souder led the Norse with nine points.

Youngstown State 83, Wright State 68
Youngstown State improved to 5-2 in #HLWBB play, handing Wright State its first League loss on Friday as the Penguins topped the Raiders, 83-68. Sarah Cash and Alison Smolinski each totaled 22 points for the Penguins and McKenah Peters added 17 points. The Raiders were led by 27 points from freshman Angel Baker.

Milwaukee 79, Oakland 52
Milwaukee picked up its third League win at Oakland on Friday, topping the Golden Grizzlies, 79-52. Megan Walstad was the leading scorer for the Panthers, posting 18 points and adding seven rebounds. Taylor Jones’ 15 points led the Golden Grizzlies.

Green Bay 65, Detroit Mercy 40
Green Bay is now 5-1 in League play after a 65-40 road win at Detroit Mercy. Hailey Oskey led the way for the Phoenix, scoring 20 points. Jess Bicknell led the Titans with 19 points.

MOTOR CITY MADNESS
The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The 2019 men’s and women’s championship games will take place on Tuesday, March 12 with the men playing at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN or ESPN2 and the women starting at noon ET on ESPNU. Tickets for the semifinals and championship go on-sale on February 1. Once quarterfinal games conclude on March 5 and 6, fan section information for participating teams will be announced.
