INDIANAPOLIS – Youngstown State redshirt-senior Sarah Cash led the Penguins to a win over Wright State on Friday, scoring 22 points in 24 minutes. Cash is the #HLWBB Nike® Player of the Week for the first time this season. Green Bay freshman Hailey Oskey averaged 14 points per game this week, adding four rebounds, and four steals to help the Phoenix to a 2-0 road trip. Oskey is the #HLWBB Nike® Freshman of the Week for the first time.

Sarah Cash scored 22 points in 24 minutes to help Youngstown State hand Wright State its first league loss with an 83-68 win on Friday. Cash took over the game in the third quarter, going 6-for-6 from the field and scoring 12 points as YSU added eight points to its lead. Cash led #HLWBB in scoring for the week, was tied for seventh in field goal percentage, and was perfect from the free throw line (6-6).

Hailey Oskey played a pivotal role in Green Bay’s 2-0 record during its trip to Michigan this past weekend, as the freshman guard averaged 14.0 PPG and shot 53% from the field including an 8-of-14 clip (57%) from long range. Oskey shined with a career performance on Thursday night at Detroit Mercy, turning in a career-high 20 points and burying six triples in nine attempts. She also finished perfect from the line this past weekend, swiped four steals and corralled four rebounds while averaging 25.0 MPG.
