INDIANAPOLIS – To close out the final day of #HLWBB action in 2019, Youngstown State picked up a home win to improve to 2-0 in League play while IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, and Wright State earned their first League victories on the road.

IUPUI 78, Cleveland State 53
- IUPUI snapped Cleveland State’s 11-game winning streak and earned its first League victory on the road on Monday, 78-53.
- The Jags never trailed in the contest, jumping out to a 23-12 lead after the first quarter and outscoring the Vikings by seven points in the second.
- Macee Williams was tremendous for IUPUI, scoring 33 points and adding 13 rebounds in 26 minutes of action.
- Mariah White led CSU in scoring with 20 points as teammate Savanna Crockett posted a double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds).
Youngstown State 77, UIC 65
- Youngstown State improved to 2-0 in #HLWBB play and picked up its fourth straight win overall on Monday, outlasting UIC, 77-65.
- The Penguins were bolstered by a strong third quarter, topping the Flames, 24-11 in that period.
- Taylor Petit led the Penguins with 19 points, while Chelsea Olson and Ny'Dajah Jackson added 14 points each, and McKenah Peters posted nine points and 14 rebounds.
- Tylah Lampley scored 22 points to lead the Flames and teammate Jada Nneji added 15 points.
Wright State 70, Green Bay 58
- Wright State won the first matchup of this season’s co-preseason favorites, defeating Green Bay, 70-58, on the road to improve to 1-1 in League play.
- The Raiders out-rebounded the Phoenix, 44-37, posting 20 second chance points to 11 for GB.
- Angel Baker led WSU with 25 points and Michal Miller added 19 points for the Raiders.
- Frankie Wurtz (13 points) and Mackenzie Wolf (12 points) led the Phoenix offensively.
Northern Kentucky 61, Milwaukee 49
- Northern Kentucky closed out its first League road trip of the season with a 61-49 win at Milwaukee on Monday evening.
- The Norse closed out the contest with a strong fourth quarter on the defensive end, holding the Panthers to nine points in the final ten minutes of action to secure the victory.
- Four players scored in double figures for NKU, led by 14 points from Molly Glick while Kailey Coffey led the way with 12 rebounds.
- Bre Cera scored 13 points to lead Milwaukee in the loss.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
