INDIANAPOLIS – Four #HLWBB teams competed on Sunday and IUPUI and Youngstown State each earned victories to remain in the top four of the League standings.

Youngstown State 83, UIC 59
Youngstown State earned its tenth #HLWBB victory on Sunday, defeating UIC, 83-59, in Chicago. The Penguins were paced by 22 points from Mary Dunn, a double-double (12 points and 10 rebounds) from Chelsea Olson, and 18 points from Alison Smolinski. Catera Etheridge led the Flames offensively, totaling 18 points, while Brittany Byrd added 15 points.

IUPUI 64, Cleveland State 36
IUPUI improved to 9-4 in the League standings with a 64-36 home victory over Cleveland State on Sunday. Sydney Roule led the Jags offensively, scoring 15 points, while Morgan Allen added 14 points for IUPUI. Mariah Miller scored 12 points to lead the Vikings in the loss.

MOTOR CITY MADNESS
The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 at highest seeds and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Tickets for the semifinals and championship are on-sale now. Once quarterfinal games conclude on March 5 and 6, fan section information for participating teams will be announced.
