INDIANAPOLIS – It was another exciting Friday night of #HLMBB action as Green Bay completed a thrilling comeback on ESPNU to grab sole possession of third place and IUPUI picked up a pivotal home win.

IUPUI 67, Milwaukee 60
The Jaguars snapped a four-game losing streak on Friday thanks to a 67-60 win at home over Milwaukee to improve to 7-8 in #HLMBB play. Jaylen Minnett scored a game-high 22 points for IUPUI, while Camron Justice added 15 points and Ahmed Ismail chipped in 13 points and eight boards. The win pulls IUPUI into a tie for seventh place in the standings. Milwaukee’s leading scorers were DeAndre Abram with 19 points on three 3-pointers and Darius Roy with 18 points. The Panthers drop to 4-11 in HL play with three games remaining in the regular season.
Green Bay 63, UIC 62
The Phoenix grabbed sole possession of third place in the HL standings on Friday as they completed a 19-point comeback to defeat the Flames, 63-62, in Chicago on ESPNU. Green Bay trailed 39-20 at halftime, but outscored UIC 43-23 in the second period. Sandy Cohen III scored 17 points in the after intermission and finished with 20 for Green Bay, while Josh McNair tallied 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor. Tarkus Ferguson scored 14 points for UIC with seven rebounds and Jordan Blount finished with 13 points and nine boards. The Flames drop to 8-7 in the #HLMBB standings after shooting just 14 percent (3-21) from 3-point range.

MOTOR CITY MADNESS
The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 at highest seeds and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
