INDIANAPOLIS – Friday’s #HLMBB action was dominated by the road teams as Wright State remained unbeaten in League play and Northern Kentucky used a big second half to earn a win on ESPN2.

  • Northern Kentucky won its second-straight game and are now over .500 in HL play after claiming a 16-point win on ESPN2
  • Trevon Faulkner scored 15 points for the Norse and Adrian Nelson tallied a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
  • Michael Diggins led the Flames with 15 points and grabbed a team-high nine boards and Tarkus Ferguson hit four 3-pointers.
  • NKU trailed 33-29 early in the second before going on a 30-0 run for over 10 minutes in the second half.

  • The Raiders remain undefeated in #HLMBB play and extend their win streak to eight games.
  • Bill Wampler went off for 26 points on 10-of-11 shooting with five triples, while Loudon Love registered his third double-double during League play with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
  • Jaylen Minnett tallied a team-best 24 points and Marcus Burk recorded 17.
  • WSU has scored 80 points or more in four of five League games this season.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
