INDIANAPOLIS – Week 6 of the #HLMBB season began on Thursday with Cleveland State and UIC bringing their Horizon League records to 5-5 with wins.

  • Cleveland State pulled back to .500 in #HLMBB play with its second-straight win.
  • Torrey Patton and Craig Beaudion led the way for the Vikings with 18 points each, while Algevon Eichelberger added 14 points and eight rebounds.
  • IUPUI was led by Marcus Burk with 18 points and Elyjah Goss recorded his League-leading sixth double-double during #HLMBB play with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
  • The Vikings won the rebounding battle 46-32, the most rebounds for CSU this season during League play.
UIC 90, Youngstown State 83 (OT)
  • The Flames improve to 5-5 in Horizon League play with its fourth win in five games.
  • UIC had four players finish in double figures as Marcus Ottey registered 22 points and Braelen Bridges ended with 20.
  • Youngstown State’s Naz Bohannon tallied his fifth double-double of the year with a game-best 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Darius Quisenberry added 16 points and five assists.
  • UIC went on a 14-5 run in the final three minutes of regulation to force YSU’s third consecutive overtime game.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
