INDIANAPOLIS – The second half of #HLWBB play tipped off with four games on Thursday. IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, and UIC were victorious at home while Green Bay earned a road victory.

GAME RECAPS
IUPUI 58, Cleveland State 48
- IUPUI earned its ninth straight win and improved to 9-1 in League play with a 58-48 win over Cleveland State on Thursday to complete the regular season sweep of the Vikings.
- In an 11 a.m. tipoff for Class on the Court Day in the Jungle, both offenses were held well below their regular season scoring averages, 71.9 for IUPUI and 68.3 for CSU. The Jags were able to take a five-point lead into halftime and extend the lead to nine before the final period, holding CSU to nine points in the third quarter and holding on for the ten-point victory.
- Macee Williams led IUPUI with 16 points, adding seven rebounds, while a trio of Jags added nine points each, including Katelyn O’Reilly who also corralled 12 rebounds.
- The Vikings were paced by 19 points from Mariah Miller with Mariah White adding 11 points.
Green Bay 68, Wright State 59
- Green Bay improved to 7-3 and moved into a tie for second place in the standings with a 68-59 road victory at Wright State on Thursday night.
- After a very tight three quarters of play, the Phoenix dropped 20 points in the final period to secure the regular season split with the Raiders.
- Frankie Wurtz led GB with 27 points, including 16 in the second half. Madison Wolf added a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds while Hailey Oskey added 15 points.
- Angel Baker scored 23 for the Raider offense and Alexis Stover added 14 points for WSU.
Northern Kentucky 61, Milwaukee 37
- Northern Kentucky earned a 61-37 triumph over Milwaukee on Thursday night to move to 6-4 in #HLWBB play.
- The Norse defense was tremendous in the contest, holding the Panthers to a field goal percentage of 26 percent, including a 3-21 mark (14.3 percent) from beyond the arc.
- Three NKU players scored in double figures. Ally Niece posted 17 points, Molly Glick added 13, and Carissa Garcia scored 12.
- Jamie Reit’s 11 points paced the MKE offense.
UIC 59, Youngstown State 53
- UIC defended its home court and secured its second League victory on Thursday, upsetting Youngstown State, 59-53.
- The Penguins led by two at the half and one point at the end of the third before the Flames responded in the fourth to take the win.
- Kimeira Burks scored 20 points and Tiana Jackson added 18 to lead UIC in the win.
- YSU was led by 13 points each from Quinece Hatcher and Chelsea Olson.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
