INDIANAPOLIS – The second week of #HLWBB wrapped up on Saturday with the home teams going 4-1, including Wright State and IUPUI who improve to 3-1 in #HLWBB play.

Wright State 91, Youngstown State 41
  • Wright State’s Anisja Harris scored a game-high 21 points on seven 3-pointers, while Jada Roberson added 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
  • Maddie Schires led YSU with 15 points on four triples.
  • The 91 points is the most scored by the Raiders this season
  • The Raiders shot 51.4 percent from the floor and 52.6 percent from long range.
Green Bay 61, Milwaukee 48
  • Green Bay improved to 2-1 in League play behind a 17-point effort by Hailey Oskey with Farnkie Wurtz adding 12.
  • Lizzie Odegard recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds and Jamie Reit scored 11 points. Brandi Bisping grabbed 16 rebounds.
  • GB outscored MKE 22-2 in points in the paint.
  • The Phoenix have won six-straight games against the Panthers
Cleveland State 73, Northern Kentucky 68
  • Cleveland State had three players finish in double figures led by Mariah Miller with 21 points, while Savanna Crockett and Mariah White each added 16 points.
  • Northern Kentucky’s Emmy Souder and Taylor Clos tied for a team-high with 18 points.
  • The Vikings held just a one-point advantage early in the fourth quarter, but were able to make free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
  • As a team, Cleveland State committed just six turnovers, marking a season-low for the Vikings.
IUPUI 82, Detroit Mercy 45
  • Five IUPUI players scored in double figures with Katelyn O’Reilly, Macee Williams and Sydney Roule each leading the team with 12 points.
  • Bridgid Fox and Jiera Shears led the Titans with eight points.
  • The Jags shot 53.3 percent from the field and held the Titans to 34.7 percent from the floor.
  • IUPUI sealed the game by shooting 11-for-14 in the third quarter.
UIC 70, Oakland 64 (OT)
  • The Flames won its first #HLWBB games of the season as Jada Nneji scored 19 points and Tylah Lampley registered a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards.
  • Oakland’s Chloe Guingrich recorded a double-double of her own with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
  • UIC outscored Oakland 14-8 in the extra period, including a 8-0 advantage on points off of turnovers.
  • This is the second straight year UIC and Oakland have gone to OT with the Flames coming out on top both times.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
