INDIANAPOLIS – Week 3 of the #HLMBB season began on Thursday with the home teams being victorious as Cleveland State and Youngstown State won competitive games to improve to 3-1 in HL play.

- The Vikings win their third-straight game as Craig Beaudion finished with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists. Algevon Eichelberger scored 16 points and Franklyn Penn Jr. added 15 off the bench.
- Detroit Mercy’s Antoine Davis scored 15 points and Justin Miller finished with 14 points and seven rebounds.
- Cleveland State held the Titans to just 30.3 percent shooting from the floor and 26.5 percent from 3-point range.
- CSU is riding a three-game winning streak during League play for the first time since the 2014-15 season.
Youngstown State 61, Oakland 60
- Youngstown State picked up another late win over Oakland as Darius Quisenberry drove the length of the floor and made a layup with 1.7 seconds left in the game.
- YSU’s Michael Akuchie led the charge with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Quisenberry finished with 15 points.
- Xavier Hill-Mais of Oakland scored a team-high 15 points and Tray Maddox Jr. added 11.
- The Penguins are now 7-0 at the Beeghly Center for the first time since 1983-84.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
