INDIANAPOLIS – Week two of #HLWBB competition started on Saturday with IUPUI, Milwaukee, Northern Kentucky and Oakland all improving to 3-0 while UIC earned its first League win in overtime.

IUPUI 78, Cleveland State 44
  • IUPUI improved to 3-0 in League play and 5-1 overall with a 78-44 home win over Cleveland State on Saturday.
  • The Jags held the Vikings to 29.3 percent shooting from the floor in the first game of the season for CSU.
  • Three Jaguars posted double figure scoring efforts in the win, led by 18 points from Macee Williams.
  • Isabella Geraci led the Vikings with 12 points while Taylah Levy added 10 points.
Milwaukee 64, RMU 52
  • Milwaukee is now 3-0 in #HLWBB play and 6-1 overall following a 64-52 victory over RMU on Saturday.
  • The Colonials jumped out to an 11-8 lead after the first quarter but the Panthers responded to tie the game up at the half then take the lead in the third and hold on for the win.
  • Megan Walstad led MKE offensively with 18 points while Angie Cera added 11 points.
  • A trio of Colonials scored in double figures led by Esther Castedo’s 12 points.
NKU 83, Purdue Fort Wayne 48
  • NKU earned its third League victory on Saturday, topping Purdue Fort Wayne 83-48 on the road.
  • The Norse knocked down 11 three-point field goals in the contest, shooting 40.7 percent from behind the arc.
  • Lindsey Duvall led NKU in scoring with 18 points while Kailey Coffey posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Hannah Hess was the leading scorer for the Mastodons with 14 points.
Oakland 75, Wright State 69
  • Oakland picked up its third #HLWBB win on Saturday, taking down Wright State 75-69 on the road.
  • The Golden Grizzlies led 47-34 at the half but the Raiders responded in the third quarter to tie it up heading into the final ten minutes. A layup by Autumn Kissman with 9:18 to play gave Oakland the lead for good.
  • Kahlaijah Dean (20 points) and Alona Blackwell (19 points) paced the Golden Grizzlies offensively.
  • Wright State’s Angel Baker led all scorers with 22 points. Jada Roberson added 12 points for the Raiders.
UIC 76, Detroit Mercy 72 (OT)
  • UIC earned its first League victory of the season on Saturday, topping Detroit Mercy in overtime.
  • A three-point field goal by Kristian Young with 1:19 left in overtime helped seal the victory for the Flames.
  • Daijah Smith led UIC with 22 points while three other Flames scored in double figures.
  • Detroit Mercy’s Kaela Webb paced the Titans with 23 points.
