INDIANAPOLIS – Friday’s #HLMBB action saw the top two teams in the Horizon League, Wright State and Northern Kentucky, pick up wins at home to remain on top of the standings.

Northern Kentucky 84, IUPUI 70
- The Norse improved to 6-1 at home during #HLMBB play.
- Jalen Tate tallied his first 30-point performance of the season for NKU with a career-high 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting and added seven assists.
- IUPUI’s Marcus Burk recorded 30 points on 55 percent shooting from the floor, tying for the most 30-point performances during HL play this season with three.
- Northern Kentucky shot 52.9 percent from the floor, improving to 9-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better.
Wright State 75, UIC 58
- Wright State snapped a three-game losing streak to UIC with its last win coming on Feb. 25, 2018.
- Loudon Love nearly recorded a double-double for WSU but did collect his sixth 20-point game during HL play this season with 24 points and nine rebounds. Bill Wampler added 19 points and Tanner Holder scored 16.
- Tarkus Ferguson scored a team-high 18 points for the Flames and Marcus Ottey chipped in 15.
- The Raiders shot 90.5 percent from the free throw line (19-21).
