Green Bay 72, Detroit Mercy 45
  • Green Bay improved to 8-5 in League play and remained in fourth place in the standings with a 72-45 home win over Detroit Mercy on Friday night.
  • The Phoenix had a strong night on the glass, outrebounding the Titans 44-20 and totaling 24 second chance points while only allowing two.
  • Four GB players scored in double figures in the win, led by 16 points from Caitlyn Hibner.
  • Sylare Starks led the Detroit Mercy offense with 14 points.
Milwaukee 74, Oakland 67
  • Milwaukee (7-6) moved into a tie for fifth place in the #HLWBB standings with a 74-67 triumph over Oakland on Friday night.
  • The Panther offense shot 50 percent from the floor (27-54) while the defense held the Golden Grizzlies to 34 percent shooting.
  • Brandi Bisping had a stellar game for MKE, totaling 28 points and 10 rebounds. Jamie Reit added 17 points and Lizzie Odegard scored 16.
  • Four Oakland players posted double digit scoring efforts, paced by 19 points from Kahlaijah Dean.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
