INDIANAPOLIS – Week 6 of the #HLMBB season ended on Sunday with Northern Kentucky pulling within one game of first place with a win, while Green Bay handed first-place Wright State just its second loss during HL play.

  • The Norse went 2-0 on its Wisconsin road trip with another strong defensive effort against the Panthers.
  • Tyler Sharpe scored a game-high 18 points, going 4-for-8 from 3-point range, and Jalen Tate nearly recorded a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.
  • Milwaukee’s Darius Roy had a team-high 11 points and six rebounds.
  • The Norse led 25-17 at halftime as they held MKE to just 23.3 percent from the floor.
Green Bay 92, Wright State 89
  • Green Bay snapped a two-game losing skid and got back to over .500 in League play with the win over the Raiders.
  • The Phoenix had four players finish in double figures led by Amari Davis with 24 points and Kameron Hankerson with 22 points.
  • Loudon Love had a team-high 21 points with nine rebounds for Wright State and Tanner Holden finished with 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
  • GB shot 54.5 percent from the floor to give WSU its second loss in Horizon League play this season.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
