Horizon League Announces Women's Basketball Championship School Day
INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League, in conjunction with the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, announce the first Horizon League Women’s Basketball Championship School Day on Tuesday, March 10.
Students (grades K-6) are eligible to attend the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Championship game for free and participate in game day activities related to STEM and health and wellness.
“We’re excited to welcome Indianapolis area students to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum for a delightful day that will be educational, exciting and entertaining,” said Horizon League Commissioner Jonathan LeCrone. “As the new home of our tournament, it’s important to have a far-reaching impact on the city of Indianapolis and give back in the community. We look forward to showcasing excellent basketball action on the court and providing an educational setting for students attending the first Horizon League Women’s Basketball Championship School Day.”
Horizon League Women’s Basketball Championship School Day attendees will receive one free ticket to the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Championship game, an educational basketball workbook and a first-hand experience watching NCAA Division I Women's Basketball student-athletes in action.
