INDIANAPOLIS – Week seven of #HLWBB play tipped off with four games on Thursday night. IUPUI won its 11th straight game, Wright State earned a road win and Cleveland State and Oakland picked up home victories.

GAME RECAPS
IUPUI 95, Detroit Mercy 54
- League-leading IUPUI earned its 11th consecutive victory on Thursday night, cruising to a 95-54 win at Detroit Mercy.
- The Jags’ offense was firing on all cylinders in the contest, shooting 52 percent from the floor and racking up 56 points in the paint. In the third quarter, IUPUI totaled 30 points with an incredible shooting percentage of almost 85 percent (11-13).
- Macee Williams posted another double-double for the Jaguars, posting 23 points and 11 rebounds while Rachel McLimore added 21 points.
- Three Titans scored in double figures, led by 13 points from Bridgid Fox.
Wright State 67, Youngstown State 54
- Wright State improved to 8-4 in #HLWBB play with a 67-54 win at Youngstown State on Thursday.
- The second quarter was the difference in the contest as the Raiders outscored the Penguins 19-7 in that period while the other three quarters each had scoring differentials of just one point.
- Four WSU players totaled double digits in the scoring column, paced by 12 points each from Angel Baker and Michal Miller. Anisja Harris recorded a double-double, adding 11 rebounds to her 10 points.
- McKenah Peters led the Penguin offense with 17 points.
Cleveland State 66, Northern Kentucky 62
- Cleveland State held off Northern Kentucky for a home win on Thursday, 66-62.
- After NKU took a three-point lead in the first quarter, the Norse dominated the second frame, 17-5. However, the Vikings exploded for 30 points in the third quarter, holding NKU to 9 points, and held on in the fourth to clinch the key victory.
- Mariah White totaled 28 points to lead CSU as Mariah Miller added 14 points.
- Molly Glick had a strong game for the Norse, scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Oakland 63, UIC 46
- Oakland earned its fifth League win on Thursday, defeating UIC, 63-46 to split the season series with the Flames.
- The Golden Grizzlies jumped out to a seven point lead after the first quarter and outscored the Flames in each of the next three quarters to pick up the victory. The Oakland offense was bolstered by 19 second chance points, while allowing zero for UIC.
- A trio of Golden Grizzlies scored in double figures, including Breanne Beatty who scored 10 points and added 11 rebounds.
- Jada Nneji posted a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) and Tiana Jackson scored 11 for the Flames.

HORIZON LEAGUE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 3 and 5 at campus sites and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 9-10 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
Every game of the tournament will be carried on ESPN networks and four of the six games in Indianapolis will appear on national television.
