INDIANAPOLIS – #HLWBB week five came to a close on Saturday with five teams closing out weekend sweeps, including Milwaukee who is now 10-0 in League play.

GAME RECAPS
Milwaukee 65, Cleveland State 44
- Milwaukee earned its tenth straight win and remained undefeated in League play (10-0) with a 65-44 home win over Cleveland State.
- The Panther defense locked in during the second quarter, holding the Vikings to 5 points on 2-16 from the floor and taking an 18-point lead into the half. Overall, CSU shot just 26.8 percent from the field while the MKE offense shot 45.3 percent in the game.
- Megan Walstad had a stellar game for the Panthers, posting a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
- Barbara Zieniewska paced the Vikings with 11 points.
Oakland 71, Detroit Mercy 61
- Oakland improved to 6-4 in League play and wrapped up a weekend sweep over Detroit Mercy with a 71-61 victory on Saturday afternoon.
- The Golden Grizzlies scored 21 points off 20 Titan turnovers in the contest.
- Autumn Kissman (18 points) and Kahlaijah Dean (17 points) led the Oakland offense in the win.
- Four Detroit Mercy players scored in double figures, including Cierra Harrison who scored a team-high 14 points with nine rebounds and Sammiyah Hoskin who recorded a double-double (10 points, 13 rebounds).
Youngstown State 66, UIC 59
- Youngstown State and UIC battled in another tight contest on Saturday afternoon with the Penguins taking a 66-59 win to finish the weekend sweep.
- There were 16 lead changes in the game and YSU freshman Nneka Obiazor helped seal the victory with a three-point field goal that put the Penguins up three points with less than a minute to play.
- Obiazor led YSU with 19 points while Mary Dunn scored 18 and Chelsea Olson added 11 for the Penguins.
- UIC’s Kristian Young scored a game-high 25 points.
Wright State 58, RMU 51
- Wright State is now 9-1 in #HLWBB play after winning its seventh straight game, a 58-51 triumph over Robert Morris.
- The contest was tied through three quarters but the WSU offense was very efficient in the fourth quarter, shooting 60 percent from the field (6-10) to take the win.
- The Raiders used a balanced offensive attack in the contest with four players scoring in double figures. Tyler Frierson led the way with 13 points and Jada Roberson totaled a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
- Ten different Colonials scored in the contest, led by eight points from Esther Castedo.
Green Bay 70, Purdue Fort Wayne 59
- Green Bay improved to 6-2 in League play with its sixth straight win as the Phoenix topped Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, 70-59.
- The Phoenix totaled 38 points in the paint while holding the Mastodons to just 10 while GB also collected 12 more rebounds than Purdue Fort Wayne.
- Hailey Oskey scored 13 points to lead the Phoenix and Lyndsey Robson added 10.
- Sierra Bell led the Mastodons with 21 points while Riley Ott and Jaida Wolfork scored 11 points each.
