1,461 Student-Athletes Make Fall 2020 Honor Roll

INDIANAPOLIS – 1,467 student-athletes achieved academic honor roll distinction for the fall of 2020 semester with all 12 member institutions and 19 Horizon League sponsored sports represented.
 
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify:
1) participation in at least one of the League’s 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
2) completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
 
Milwaukee heads the list with 173 student-athletes on the academic honor roll. Youngstown State (168), Oakland (156), Northern Kentucky (140), IUPUI (136), Cleveland State (124), Detroit Mercy (109) and UIC (105) all reached triple digits of student-athletes being recognized. Sports with the most representation were women’s track and field/cross country with 220 student-athletes while women’s soccer had 197 members. The third highest group with 132 honorees was men’s soccer.
