INDIANAPOLIS – The sixth week of #HLWBB play tipped off on Friday with Milwaukee remaining undefeated on the road at IUPUI, Green Bay earning its seventh straight win and Oakland, RMU and Youngstown State all picking up home wins.

GAME RECAPS
RMU 50, Wright State 43
- RMU picked up its first League victory on Friday, defeating Wright State, 50-43.
- The Colonial defense held the Raiders to 24.1 percent shooting as the Raiders scored a season-low 43 points, 19 points below their season average.
- Sol Castro posted a double-double for RMU, totaling 23 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
- Tyler Frierson led WSU with a double-double of her own, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Green Bay 71, Cleveland State 62
- Green Bay earned its seventh straight win on Friday afternoon, taking down Cleveland State, 71-62.
- Both teams posted strong offensive efforts in the fourth quarter with the Phoenix outscoring the Vikings 28-25 in the final ten minutes to extend the winning streak.
- Four GB players scored in double figures, led by Caitlyn Hibner with 22 points.
- Mariah White paced the Vikings with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Youngstown State 88, UIC 78
- Youngstown State improved to 4-3 in #HLWBB play with an 88-78 home win over UIC on Friday afternoon.
- The Penguins jumped out to a 25-15 lead after the first quarter and that would be the difference as the two teams played even for the final 30 minutes.
- Five Penguins scored in double figures in the high-scoring contest. Nneka Obiazor led the way with 19 points and McKenah Peters added 17 points.
- UIC’s Jaida McCloud led all scorers with 20 points while Keona Schenck added 19 points and two other Flames scored in double figures.
Oakland 58, Purdue Fort Wayne 49
- Oakland moved to 7-4 in League play with a 58-49 home victory over Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday afternoon.
- Leading by only one point heading into the fourth quarter, the Golden Grizzlies held the Mastodons to just six points in the final 10 minutes to earn a third straight win.
- Kahlaijah Dean led the Golden Grizzlies with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Chloe Guingrich and Sydney Gouard also added double figure scoring efforts.
- Sierra Bell scored 13 points to lead the Mastodons.
Milwaukee 74, IUPUI 66
- Milwaukee earned its 11th straight win and moved to 11-0 in #HLWBB play, taking down defending League champion IUPUI, 74-66, in the Jungle on Friday night.
- The Panthers trailed by six points at the half but put up 29 points in the third quarter, shooting 75 percent from the floor in the frame to take the lead.
- Four MKE players scored in double figures as Brandi Bisping led the way with 17 points and nine rebounds while Megan Walstad scored 14 points.
- Rachel McLimore led the Jaguars with 20 points and Destiny Perkins chipped in 17 points for IUPUI.
