INDIANAPOLIS – In week six of the #HLWBB regular season, Milwaukee, Oakland, RMU and Youngstown State all earned weekend sweeps while Cleveland State and Green Bay split their two matchups.

#HLWBB NEWS & NOTES
• In this week’s College Insider Women’s Mid-Major Top 25 poll, Milwaukee moved up to No. 6, IUPUI ranked No. 15 and Wright State continued to receive votes.

• The Milwaukee defense ranks seventh nationally in field-goal percentage and eighth in scoring defense as the Panthers are allowing opponents to shoot just 32.7 percent from the floor and score 52.1 points per game. The MKE offense ranks second nationally in free-throw percentage (84.0).

• Lindsey Duvall is averaging 17.8 points per League contest this season for NKU as the Norse are scheduled to return to action on Friday at Milwaukee.

• IUPUI ranks 10th among Division I teams in three-point field-goal percentage as the Jags are converting 38.7 percent from beyond the arc.

• Caitlyn Hibner and Sydney Levy are leading the Phoenix offense in League games this season as both players are averaging over 12 points per game.

• Wright State continues to put up strong rebounding numbers, ranking in the top-20 nationally in rebounds per game (44.9), rebounding margin (12.6) and offensive rebounds per game (17.5).

• UIC’s Kristian Young ranks second among #HLWBB players in assists per game (4.9) and fourth in assist-turnover ratio (1.9).

• Riley Ott (10.3 points) and Sierra Bell (10.0 points) pace the Purdue Fort Wayne offense in League play.

• Oakland’s Kahlaijah Dean nearly averaged a triple-double at 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game and 2.5 blocks defensively helping the Golden Grizzlies to a weekend sweep over Purdue Fort Wayne for the team’s third and fourth consecutive league wins.

• #HLWBB leading scorer Cleveland State’s Mariah White averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.5 steals as the Vikings split a weekend series against Green Bay over the weekend.

• RMU earned its first two #HLWBB wins over the weekend, taking down Wright State twice to snap the Raiders’ seven game win streak.

• Youngstown State’s Nneka Obiazor averaged a double-double for the second time in three weeks with averages of 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds to lead the Penguins to a pair of victories over UIC this week. The freshman leads YSU with 14.3 points and 8.9 rebounds this season.
