INDIANAPOLIS – The seventh week of #HLWBB play began on Friday with NKU remaining undefeated on the road at Milwaukee while Cleveland State, Green Bay and RMU all earned home wins and Wright State picked up a road victory.

Cleveland State 75, Oakland 70
  • Cleveland State earned its fourth League victory on Friday, outlasting Oakland 75-70 in a tight battle in Cleveland.
  • CSU held an advantage in fast break points, 20-5, including 11 in the second half.
  • Destiny Leo and Mariah White posted stellar games for the Vikings as Leo scored 23 points and White led the way with 24 points.
  • A trio of Golden Grizzlies scored in double figures, led by Alona Blackwell’s 24-point performance.
Green Bay 60, IUPUI 55
  • Green Bay earned a 60-55 home win over IUPUI on Friday, improving to 8-3 in #HLWBB play.
  • The third quarter was key for the Phoenix as they held the Jags to eight points in the frame and put up 18 to take a four-point lead into the fourth quarter.
  • Caitlyn Hibner scored 22 points to lead the Phoenix in the victory.
  • Rachel McLimore led the Jags with 17 points while Macee Williams and Katelyn O’Reilly also scored in double figures.
Wright State 77, Purdue Fort Wayne 50
  • Wright State improved to 10-3 in League play with a 77-50 road win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday afternoon.
  • The Raiders had a strong start, posting 22 points in the first quarter and increasing their lead to 21 points by the half.
  • Angel Baker scored 21 points to lead WSU while Shamarre Hale scored 13 and Emani Jefferson added 11.
  • Rylie Parker led the Mastodons with 13 points and Valerie Clark scored 12.
Northern Kentucky 67, Milwaukee 50
  • Northern Kentucky moved to 5-0 in League play and handed Milwaukee its first #HLWBB loss with a 67-50 victory at the Klotsche Center on Friday evening.
  • In its first game since January 1, the Norse defense looked sharp as the Panthers shot just 30.2 percent from the floor in the contest, including 13 percent from beyond the arc.
  • Carissa Garcia led NKU with 20 points while Lindsey Duvall scored 18 and Ivy Turner added 17 points.
  • Brandi Bisping posted a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds while Sydney Staver scored 15 for the Panthers.
RMU 61, Youngstown State 46
  • RMU picked up a third straight win on Friday, topping Youngstown State, 61-46, in Moon Township.
  • The Colonials shot 53.8 percent in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Penguins 17-7 to seal the victory and extend their winning streak.
  • Dahomée Forgues, Esther Castedo and Sol Castro all scored in double figures for RMU. Castro posted a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
  • Nneka Obiazor led the Penguins with 16 points and Mary Dunn scored 10 for YSU.
