Cleveland State 68, Oakland 53
  • Cleveland State completed a weekend sweep of visiting Oakland, topping the Golden Grizzlies 68-53 to improve to 5-7 in League play.
  • The Vikings outscored Oakland 30-18 in the paint as the CSU defense held the Golden Grizzlies to just 26.9 percent from the floor in the contest.
  • Nadia Dumas posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds for CSU while Mariah White and Destiny Leo scored 16 points each in the win.
  • Alona Blackwell scored 13 points to lead OAK while Kahlaijah Dean added 12 points.
IUPUI 68, Green Bay 61
  • IUPUI picked up a 68-61 win at Green Bay on Saturday to move to 7-3 in League play and split the weekend series.
  • The Jaguars held an advantage 21-8 in second chance points and also scored 18 points off 18 Phoenix turnovers.
  • Macee Williams recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Rachel McLimore led the Jaguars in scoring with 23 points.
  • Caitlyn Hibner (16 points) and Cassie Schiltz (13 points) led the GB offense in the setback.
Wright State 69, Purdue Fort Wayne 59
  • Wright State defeated Purdue Fort Wayne, 69-59, on Saturday to improve to 11-3 in #HLWBB play and finish a weekend sweep over the Mastodons.
  • The two teams were tied heading into the fourth quarter before the Raiders poured in 24 points on 61.5 percent shooting in the final frame to lock in the victory.
  • Angel Baker scored 24 points to lead the Raider offense while Tyler Frierson posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds and Shamarre Hale scored 14.
  • A trio of Mastodons scored in double figures, led by 16 points from Riley Ott. Sierra Bell added 15 points and Shayla Sellers scored 12.
Northern Kentucky 68, Milwaukee 61
  • Northern Kentucky moved to 6-0 in League play with a 68-61 win at Milwaukee, completing the weekend sweep over the Panthers.
  • The Norse led by 14 points after the third quarter and then held off a comeback attempt by the Panthers who outscored the Norse by seven points in the fourth.
  • Carissa Garica led NKU with 22 points while Lindsey Duvall scored 13 points and Ivy Turner added 11 points.
  • Megan Walstad recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds as Sydney Staver scored 17 and Brandi Bisping chipped in 14 points for the Panthers.
Youngstown State 71, RMU 64
  • Youngstown State improved to 6-4 in #HLWBB play with a 71-64 victory at RMU on Saturday to split the weekend series.
  • After the Colonials took an 11-point halftime lead, the Penguins responded with a 25-point third quarter to take the lead.
  • Mary Dunn had a strong game for YSU, scoring 25 points and pulling down 11 rebounds while Chelsea Olson scored 18 points and Nneka Obiazor added 15 points.
  • Sol Castro recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds while Esther Castedo led the Colonials with 15 points.
UIC 78, Rockford College 30
  • UIC defeated Rockford College, 78-30, on Saturday in non-conference action.
  • Jada Nneji led the Flames with 19 points and Lindsey Rogers posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
