Ritz averaged 24.5 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 77.8 percent from the field in a pair of League road wins for the Penguins, adding a double-double in a non-League victory over Akron. Ott posted her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Mastodons’ win over UIC.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK | LILLY RITZ | YOUNGSTOWN STATE | SENIOR | FORWARD | CAMBRIDGE, OHIO
In the first two Horizon League games of her career, Ritz averaged 24.5 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 77.8 percent from the field. She led YSU in scoring in both games as the Penguins were the only league team to go 2-0 on the road. Ritz had one of the best shooting games in school history in her conference debut when she went 10-for-12 from the field in a 24-point effort at Oakland. Only six other Penguins have ever shot at least 83.3 percent in a game while making at least 10 field goals. Ritz also grabbed nine rebounds and had two steals in the game. For an encore at Detroit Mercy, she scored a career-high 25 points on 11-for-15 shooting to go along with five rebounds and two more steals. Ritz's 11 field goals against the Titans tied for the most baskets by a Horizon League player this season. Earlier in the week, Ritz collected her first double-double in Monday's win over Akron with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
