INDIANAPOLIS – #HLWBB week nine started on Friday with Cleveland State, Green Bay and IUPUI earning home wins while Oakland and Wright State picked up road victories.

Green Bay 80, UIC 56
- Green Bay improved to 11-4 in League play with an 80-56 home victory over UIC on Friday.
- The Phoenix trailed by two at the half, but responded with 45 second-half points while holding the Flames to just 19 points in the final 20 minutes of game action.
- Jasmine Kondrakiewicz posted a double-double for the Phoenix, totaling 18 points and 12 rebounds while Sydney Levy, Caitlyn Hibner and Lyndsey Robson also scored in double figures for GB.
- Kristian Young (17 points) and Lindsey Rogers (14 points) led the Flames offensively.
Cleveland State 68, Purdue Fort Wayne 45
- Cleveland State earned a fifth straight victory on Friday, topping visiting Purdue Fort Wayne, 68-45.
- The Viking defense held the Mastodons to single digit scoring efforts in the first and third quarters as Purdue Fort Wayne shot just 31.7 percent from the floor in the contest.
- Mariah White led CSU with 20 points while Nadia Dumas scored 14 points and added eight rebounds.
- Sierra Bell scored 11 points and added 13 rebounds with four assists to lead PFW.
Wright State 66, Northern Kentucky 50
- Wright State moved to 14-3 in #HLWBB play on Friday, earning a road victory at Northern Kentucky, 66-50 for a fifth straight win.
- The Raiders shot 51 percent from the floor in a contest in which they never trailed and led by as many as 20 points in the third quarter.
- Emani Jefferson led WSU with 18 points while Angel Baker added 15 points and Jada Roberson scored 13 points.
- Lindsey Duvall and Ivy Turner scored in double figures to lead the Norse offense.
Oakland 83, Milwaukee, 82 (OT)
- Oakland moved to 11-6 in the standings with an 83-82 win at Milwaukee in overtime on Friday night.
- Breanna Perry went 1-2 from the charity stripe with two seconds remaining in overtime to secure the victory for the Golden Grizzlies.
- Kahlaijah Dean led OAK with 19 points while Chloe Guingrich scored 14 points and Autumn Kissman added 11 points.
- Four Panthers scored in double figures led by 21 points from Megan Walstad.
IUPUI 72, Youngstown State 65
- IUPUI improved to 10-3 in League play with 72-65 home win over Youngstown State on Friday night.
- The Jaguars trailed by four points heading into the final quarter but were able to hold the Penguins to just nine points in the final ten minutes to secure their fourth straight victory.
- Macee Williams posted a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds while Destiny Perkins and Rachel McLimore also scored in double digits for IUPUI.
- Four YSU players scored in double figures, led by Mary Dunn with 18 points.
