Oakland 84, RMU 77
  • Oakland improved to 10-6 in League play with an 84-77 home win on Saturday, completing a weekend sweep over visiting RMU.
  • The Golden Grizzlies shot 51.9 percent from the floor in the contest, including 59 percent in the first half, leading to a 44-28 halftime advantage.
  • Five OAK players scored in double figures, led by Kahlaijah Dean who scored a game-high 21 points.
  • Freshman Sol Castro led the Colonials with 15 points in the loss.
Youngstown State 68, Purdue Fort Wayne 52
  • Youngstown State earned its fifth straight home win and eighth win in its last nine games overall with a 68-52 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday.
  • After the two teams played even in the first quarter, the Penguin defense held the Mastodons to just 16 points in the next 20 minutes of game action to lock in the victory.
  • McKenah Peters led YSU with 19 points while Nneka Obiazor scored 16 points and Mary Dunn added 15 points.
  • Sierra Bell and Aubrey Strupp led the Mastodons with 14 points and 11 points, respectively.
Green Bay 62, Northern Kentucky 58
  • Green Bay improved to 10-4 and completed a weekend sweep at Northern Kentucky on Saturday, taking game two of the series, 62-58.
  • The close contest featured seven ties and 10 lead changes but the Phoenix outscored the Norse by five in the second half to come away with the win.
  • Lyndsey Robson scored points to lead GB while Caitlyn Hibner and Cassie Schiltz also scored in double figures.
  • Lindsey Duvall (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Kailey Coffey (15 points and 10 rebounds) each posted double-doubles for the Norse.
Wright State 56, Milwaukee 49
  • Wright State moved to 13-3 in League play with a 56-49 win over Milwaukee on Saturday at the Nutter Center.
  • The third quarter was a key turning point for the Raiders as they outscored the Panthers 17-8 in the period after trailing by three points at the half.
  • Angel Baker had another big scoring performance for WSU, totaling 28 points on 11-28 shooting.
  • Megan Walstad scored 12 points to lead the MKE offense.
IUPUI 74, UIC 64
  • IUPUI is now 9-3 in #HLWBB play with a 74-64 road victory at UIC on Saturday afternoon.
  • Both teams shot just over 53.2 percent from the floor in the contest but the Jaguars shot slightly better than the Flames beyond the arc, shooting 46.2 percent (6-13) while UIC was 5-14 (35.7 percent) in the close battle.
  • Macee Williams, Rachel McLimore and Katelyn O’Reilly scored in double figures to lead the IUPUI offense.
  • Jaida McCloud led the Flames with 16 points and Lindsey Rogers and Kristian Young also scored in double digits.
Cleveland State 84, Mercyhurst 56
  • Cleveland State picked up an 84-56 home win over Mercyhurst on Saturday.
  • Destiny Leo scored 20 points and Mariah White added 19 points to lead the Vikings.
