Horizon League Releases 2021 #HLTF All-Academic Teams
INDIANAPOLIS – Recognizing student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League released its 2021 Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Teams on Thursday. A total of 30 student-athletes were honored in balloting by the League’s faculty athletics representatives.
Ten Horizon League institutions are represented among the All-Academic teams. Milwaukee leads the League with eight total selections between the men’s and women’s teams. IUPUI and Oakland had five student-athletes make the team while Cleveland State and Northern Kentucky and Youngstown State each boast two honorees. Rounding out the All-Academic teams is Purdue Fort Wayne, UIC and Wright State with one student-athlete.
