DAYTON (WSURaiders.com) - Wright State Director of Athletics Bob Grant has announced Conner Lash as the new head coach of the Wright State golf program on Wednesday. A former Raider student-athlete, Lash has had two stints as an assistant golf coach since his collegiate career concluded.

"I am really excited for this opportunity to coach at my alma mater and to continue the success this program has had," Lash said.

"We are excited for Conner to become our next head golf coach," Director of Athletics Bob Grant said. "Having been a part of our Raider Family as a student-athlete and a coach, Conner has strong ties to Wright State and will help continue to advance our golf program and build off their recent success."

Following his playing career, Lash was an assistant coach at Wright State during the 2016-17 season and then again since March 2020, where he assisted with recruiting and tournament play. After having the 2020 season canceled by COVID, the Raiders bounced back with five top three team finishes in 10 tournaments during the spring of 2021 on the way to a runner-up finish in the 2021 Horizon League Championship. A Raider student-athlete from 2012-2016, Lash served as a team captain as a junior and senior, and was a scholar athlete from 202-2015.

In addition to his duties at Wright State, Lash has most recently served as the assistant course manager at WGC Golf Course in Xenia, OH, helping run the day-to-day operations of the course, and was also previously a professional caddie on the LPGA Tour from 2018-2020.
