Nike #HLMBB Players of the Week (January 10)
INDIANAPOLIS – Detroit Mercy’s Antoine Davis dropped 39 points behind eight 3-pointers to become the school’s all-time leading scorer in front of a national television audience to earn Nike® #HLMBB Player of the Week, while Green Bay’s Kamari McGee finished with a career-best 22 points against in-state rival Milwaukee to be named Nike® #HLMBB Freshman of the Week as the Horizon League announced its men’s basketball weekly honors on Monday.

Antoine Davis | Detroit Mercy | Senior | Guard | Birmingham, Ala.
Davis put on an epic performance on Friday night to lead the Titans to a big win on national television scoring 39 points - 23 in the first half - with seven rebounds and six assists against Milwaukee. With the game being broadcast on ESPN2, he was 13-of-20 from the field, 8-of-13 from distance and a perfect 5-of-5 at the free-throw line and now has 2,323 career points to not only pass Titans legend and two-time Horizon League Player of the Year Rashad Phillips for the school record, but is also ranked fourth in Horizon League history.
#HLMBB Freshman of the Week
Kamari McGee | Green Bay | Freshman | Guard | Racine, Wis.
McGee had a career day this past week against in-state rival Milwaukee. The Racine, Wis. native poured in 22 points, which included a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. For the game, the freshman finished with a pair of triples and added two assists, two rebounds and one steal. Since entering the starting lineup on December 12 against Kansas State, McGee has been on a tear as he is averaging 14.8 points, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game in five starts.
