INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI’s Macee Williams earned her second Nike
® #HLWBB Player of the Week honor of the season while Northern Kentucky’s Kailee Davis picked up her first Nike
® #HLWBB Freshman of the Week award this week. Williams led the Jaguars to a pair of road wins at RMU and Youngstown State, posting two double-doubles and adding 4.0 assists per game. Davis averaged 12 points per game as the Norse earned two road victories in Michigan this week to extend its winning streak to seven games.

Macee Williams averaged 17.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in her first two games back to lead the Jaguars to back-to-back League wins. Williams recorded her fourth and fifth double-doubles of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the 63-44 win over Robert Morris and 16 points with 10 rebounds in the Jaguars’ overtime win over #HLWBB leader Youngstown State, 76-68. She shot 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the floor in the two games combined and averages 17.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in 11 games played this season.

Kailee Davis returned to her hometown of Detroit on Thursday to help the Norse down the Detroit Mercy Titans, 74-54. In this matchup Davis played a huge role in the victory, posting a career-high 14 total points, shooting 4-for-8 from beyond the arc. The freshman added three rebounds and went 2-for-2 from the free throw line in the 20-point win over DET. Davis continued her high level of play against Oakland, scoring 10 points off the bench, shooting 4-for-6 from the floor. She once again went a perfect 2-for-2 from the charity stripe and added two assists to her stat sheet.
