INDIANAPOLIS – Green Bay’s Hailey Oskey earned her first Nike
® #HLWBB Player of the Week honor of the season while Northern Kentucky’s Khamari Mitchell-Steen picked up her second Nike
® #HLWBB Freshman of the Week award. Oskey led the Phoenix to a pair of road wins this week as she posted back-to-back 22-point games and shot 59.3 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from beyond the arc. Mitchell-Steen averaged 7.5 points per game and shot 55 percent as the Norse went 1-1 this week, earning a win over Milwaukee.

Hailey Oskey led the Phoenix to a 2-0 week and their biggest League win of the season at NKU on Saturday. Oskey started the week with a season-high 22 points to go with eight rebounds in just 25 minutes in a 73-51 win over Wright State. She followed that performance up with 22 more points on 8-of-12 shooting in a 67-58 win over Northern Kentucky, who came into the game on a 10-game win streak. The junior was extremely efficient all weekend, shooting 59.3 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from three.

Khamari Mitchell-Steen posted yet another solid week in her first season with the Norse, averaging 7.5 points per game and shooting 55 percent. She totaled three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two assists throughout the week as well. Khamari totaled nine points in the win over Milwaukee to kick off the week, shooting 4-for-7 from the floor. Her incredible defense helped the Norse hold the Panthers to a shooting percentage of just 36.4 percent as well.
