INDIANAPOLIS (December 5, 2022) – Cleveland State’s Destiny Leo earned her second straight Nike® #HLWBB Player of the Week award while teammate Jordana Reisma picked up Nike® #HLWBB Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season as the Vikings swept the weekly awards after a 2-0 start to League play. Leo averaged 21.5 points per game and shot 60 percent from the field and Reisma totaled 13 points and four rebounds for CSU.

Leo helped the Vikings to a 2-0 start to #HLWBB play averaging 21.5 points per game on .600 shooting from the field on the week. She opened #HLWBB play with 19 points on 6-for-12 from the field - including five three-pointers - against Oakland and followed that up with 24 points on 9-for-13 from the field - including a trio of three-pointers - against Detroit Mercy. Leo went 5-for-5 from the free throw line on the week and combined for three assists, five steals and one blocked shot. The junior is now averaging 17.8 points per game on the season, and leads the League free throw and 3-point field goal percentage.

Reisma helped the Vikings to a 2-0 start to #HLWBB play averaging 6.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game on the week. The freshman posted five points and two boards against Oakland in her first League contest then followed that up with eight points - on a perfect 4-for-4 effort from the field - two rebounds and two blocked shots against Detroit Mercy. Reisma leads the team and ranks second in the League with 13 blocked shots on the season, helping the Vikings average 6.38 per game to rank fourth nationally (as of 12/3).
