INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI’s Macee Williams earned her third Nike
® #HLWBB Player of the Week honor of the season while Green Bay’s Bailey Butler picked up her second Freshman of the Week award. Williams and the Jaguars extend their winning streak to 11 games and moved into a tie for first in the #HLWBB standings as she averaged 17.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Butler helped the Phoenix complete a weekend sweep, including a double overtime win over Youngstown State.

Macee Williams averaged 17.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in the Jaguars back-to-back conference wins this weekend. She recorded her eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season with 19 points and 13 rebounds in the 64-56 win over Oakland and 15 points with 18 rebounds in the Jaguars’ win over Detroit Mercy, 66-49. With her 13th rebound on Sunday, she became IUPUI’s all-time leader in rebounds and now has a total of 1,178 career rebounds. Williams shot 51.9 percent (14-of-27) from the floor in the two games combined and averages 17.6 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in 17 games played this season.

Bailey Butler played a large role in Green Bay's 2-0 week, stuffing the stat sheet in wins over Youngstown State and Robert Morris. Against League-leading Youngstown State, Butler had 10 points, six assists, and five rebounds. She was solid from the charity stripe against the Penguins, finishing 5-for-6. The South Wayne, Wis. native followed that performance up with seven points, four rebounds, and two assists in a 57-41 win over the Colonials. Over the two games, Butler averaged 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists.
