INDIANAPOLIS – Youngstown State’s Dylan Swarmer picks up Nike
® #HLBASE Batter of the Week honors after slugging 1.077 with three home runs and six RBI over the weekend, while Jack Mahoney of Milwaukee is named Nike
® #HLBASE Pitcher of the Week after his shutout performance on the bump as the Horizon League announced its weekly baseball awards on Tuesday.

Dylan Swarmer | Youngstown State | Senior | Catcher | Saxonburg, Pa.
Dylan Swarmer batted .385 and slugged 1.077 with five hits including three home runs and six RBI in 13 at bats over four games played this past weekend. The senior catcher also recorded three runs scored, one walk, 14 total bases and a .467 on-base percentage. The Saxonburg, Pa., native went 1-for-3 with the go-ahead two-run single in YSU’s 8-3 victory in game one of a doubleheader at UIC on Friday. He followed that by going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in game two against the Flames. Swarmer then went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in the ‘Guins’ 5-3 win in game one of a doubleheader at Northern Kentucky on Sunday. It marked the second time in his career and the first time since 2019 that he hit two homers in a game.

Jack Mahoney | Milwaukee | Senior | LHP | Appleton, Wis.
Jack Mahoney was lights out on Sunday for the Panthers, leading the way to a 1-0 shutout win over Wright State. The senior went 6.0 innings strong, allowing just two hits while striking out seven to pick up his third victory of the year. Since returning from injury, Mahoney has made three starts and has struck out 17 batters in 13.1 innings while allowing just three earned runs, a 2.06 ERA. He’s picked up the win in each of those three starts.
