Horizon League Unveils 2022-23 #HLWBB Schedule
INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced its upcoming 2022-23 women’s basketball conference schedule on Wednesday. The League slate begins on Dec. 1 and concludes with the Horizon League Basketball Championship March 6-7. Each team will play a 20-game double round-robin schedule.
The regular season League schedule gets underway on Dec. 1-5 before resuming for nine-straight weeks starting on Dec. 28 until concluding on Feb. 25. Opening week action features defending tournament and co-regular season champions IUPUI traveling to Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee and Green Bay while last year’s co-regular season champion Youngstown State and travel partner RMU will both head to Northern Kentucky and Wright State. Other opening week action features Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State hosting Detroit Mercy and Oakland and the Phoenix and Panthers battling in Milwaukee.
The opening rounds of the Horizon League Basketball Women’s Basketball Championship will once again start on campus with early round matchups set for Feb. 28 and March 2. Additional information on the championship will be released at a later date.
ESPN+ continues to be the home for the League’s live streaming game content, a relationship that began during the 2014-15 season.
