INDIANAPOLIS (September 29, 2022)– The Horizon League has announced the student-athletes who will participate on the League’s #OneHL group for the 2022-23 academic year. All 11 member institutions will be represented on the group.

#OneHL is a subset of the Horizon League Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and seeks to bring about meaningful change and action to social issues across the League. #OneHL is set to meet throughout the 2022-23 academic year via videoconference with its first meeting scheduled for October 17.

“In its first two years, #OneHL has created meaningful educational content, spurred meaningful League-wide and campus conversations, implemented a League-wide effort inspiring other student-athletes to register to vote and led our Coach John McLendon Day efforts,” said Horizon League Commissioner Julie Roe Lach. “This group is able to use their voices to bring about change and implement initiatives to move the League forward in a positive direction and we are excited to see what we can accomplish together in 2022-23.”
