INDIANAPOLIS – In Saturday’s #HLWBB action, Green Bay defeated Cleveland State to move into a tie for first place while RMU and Purdue Fort Wayne also earned victories.

  • RMU collected its second League win on Saturday, taking down IUPUI, 69-63, at home, as the Jaguars fell to 4-3.
  • The Colonials shot 43.5 percent from three-point range, making 10 threes in the contest, including four in the fourth quarter.
  • Four RMU student-athletes scored in double figures. Phoenix Gedeon posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Rebecca Dwomoh added 17 points and Mackenzie Amalia and Danielle Vuletich scored 11 points each.
  • Jazmyn Turner scored a game-high 25 points for the Jags while Destiny Perkins chipped in 17 points and eight assists.
Green Bay 82, Cleveland State 65
  • Green Bay earned an 82-65 road win at Cleveland State on Saturday, handing the Vikings their first League loss while extending its winning streak to 11 games and moving to 7-1 in #HLWBB play.
  • The Phoenix shot 54.5 percent from the floor and 47.8 percent from beyond the arc while holding CSU to 30.8 percent overall and 26.9 percent from three-point range.
  • Natalie McNeal led GB with 16 points off the bench while Julia Hartwig posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Cassie Schiltz added 14 points and Bailey Butler scored 10 points.
  • Gabriella Smith paced the Vikings with 10 points.
Purdue Fort Wayne 72, Milwaukee 62
  • Purdue Fort Wayne improved to 3-5 in #HLWBB contests on Saturday, topping Milwaukee, 72-62 as the Panthers dropped to 4-4.
  • The Mastodons outscored MKE 25-6 in the fourth quarter to secure the comeback victory.
  • All five PFW starters scored in double figures, led by 17 points from Shayla Sellers and 14 points from Sylare Starks. Amellia Bromenschenkel scored 13 points, Jazzlyn Linbo added 12 points and Audra Emmerson contributed 10 points.
  • Megan Walstad posted a 21-point, 10 rebound double-double for the Panthers and Emma Wittmershaus added 12 points.
