INDIANAPOLIS (January 16, 2023) – Youngstown State’s Lilly Ritz earned Nike® #HLWBB Player of the Week for the second time this season while Oakland’s Brooke Quarles-Daniels picked up Nike® #HLWBB Freshman of the Week for the third time. Ritz posted a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double for the Penguins in a victory over RMU. Quarles-Daniels put up consecutive double-doubles in wins over Northern Kentucky and Wright State for the Golden Grizzlies.

Lilly Ritz posted her fourth double-double in her last five games by scoring 19 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in Thursday's win over Robert Morris. Ritz was 9-for-16 from the field while adding an assist, a steal and two blocks. She had nine points and six rebounds in the fourth quarter alone as the Penguins closed out their fourth straight victory.

Point guard Brooke Quarles-Daniels tallied consecutive double-doubles in wins over Northern Kentucky and Wright State. She averaged 18.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.5 steals. Against the Norse on Friday, she finished with 20 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists, setting new career-highs in all three categories, and followed this up with a 17-point, 11-board, five-assist showing against the Raiders on Sunday.
