INDIANAPOLIS – Green Bay and Oakland posted 2-0 records in the fourth week of #HLWBB action while seven teams picked up one win each.

#HLWBB NEWS & NOTES

  • In this week’s College Insider Women’s Mid-Major Top 25 poll, Green Bay moved up to No. 11 while Cleveland State ranked No. 12 and Youngstown State moved up one spot to No. 18.
  • Bailey Butler has been tremendous during Green Bay's current 11 game win streak, and especially so this weekend in GB's two big wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State when she averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists. The Phoenix point guard was extremely efficient this week, shooting 54.5-percent from the floor and 62.5-percent from three.
  • Lilly Ritz posted double-doubles in both of the Penguins’ contests this week. She opened the week with 19 points and 14 rebounds against RMU and added 15 points and 10 rebounds against IUPUI.
  • Helping the Golden Grizzlies move back above .500, freshman point guard Brooke Quarles-Daniels tallied consecutive double-doubles in wins over Northern Kentucky and Wright State. She averaged 18.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.5 steals. Against the Norse on Friday, she finished with 20 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists, setting new career-highs in all three categories, and followed this up with a 17-point, 11-board, five-assist showing against the Raiders on Sunday.
  • Cleveland State’s Amele Ngwafang averaged 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds on the week, including recording a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double in the win against Milwaukee.
  • Destiny Perkins averaged 17.5 points and 7.0 assists per game for the Jaguars this week as the posted a 1-1 record on the road.
  • Northern Kentucky’s Lindsey Duvall capped off the week with an impressive performance in a victory over the Titans, totaling 25 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal.
  • Shayla Sellers led Purdue Fort Wayne this week, averaging 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game with a 4.0 assist to turnover ratio for the Mastodons.
  • Four RMU student-athletes scored in double figures in the win over IUPUI on Saturday. Phoenix Gedeon posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Rebecca Dwomoh added 17 points and Mackenzie Amalia and Danielle Vuletich scored 11 points each.
  • Kacee Baumhower averaged 15.0 points, 5.5 rebounds. 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals over two games for Wright State women’s basketball program this week. The sophomore guard shot 45.5 percent (10-of-22) from the field, including a 58.3% percent (7-of-12) clip on 3-pointers.
  • Megan Walstad is heating up for the Panthers and in two games this week, she averaged 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Walstad shot 63.6 percent (14-for-22) from the floor in 32 minutes per game.
  • Three Detroit Mercy players posted double-doubles on Friday led by Emma Trawally Porta with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Irene Murua scored 14 points and grabbed 10 boards, while Amaya Burch collected 11 points and 11 rebounds.
