Nike #HLMBB Players of the Week (January 2)
INDIANAPOLIS – Oakland’s Jalen Moore led the Golden Grizzlies to a pair of home wins in their return to HL play averaging 21.0 points and a League-high 6.5 assists to earn Nike® #HLMBB Player of the Week, while IUPUI’s Vincent Brady II was named the Nike® #HLMBB Freshman of the Week for the third time this season after a 13-point, 5-rebound effort at home as the Horizon League announced its men’s basketball weekly honors on Monday.

Jalen Moore | Oakland | Senior | Guard | Cloverdale, Ind.
Moore picked up his first Player of the Week honor of the season after posting 21.0 points, 6.5 assists and 2.0 steals over a two-game span that saw Oakland earn a weekend sweep at home for its first two #HLMBB wins of the season. Moore started the week with 17 points and eight assists in an 83-61 victory over Milwaukee. The Cloverdale, Ind. native ended the weekend with 25 points on 13-of-15 shooting from the free-throw line and five assists in the 81-65 win against Green Bay. Moore ended the week leading the Horizon League in assists and ranking top-five in scoring while shooting 22-of-27 from the charity stripe.
#HLMBB Freshman of the Week
Vincent Brady II | IUPUI | Freshman | Guard | Indianapolis, Ind.
Brady collects his third Freshman of the Week award after tallying 13 points, five rebounds and two steals, while shooting 44 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the foul line against Northern Kentucky on Saturday. He played a team-high and a career-high 38 minutes in that contest. It marked his sixth double-digit scoring game of the season and he has now made at least one 3-pointer in nine-straight games.
